2019 Top 5 Wine Importers
USA is the biggest wine importers with almost 6.000 million US$ (around 5.400 million €) of bottled wine equivalent to almost 1.200 million bottles 75cl.
After the UK in the second place, China is the 3rd largest market (considering bottled wine only, if we include bulk wine Germany is the 3rd largest). Since sparkling wine is not significant, in 2019 China imported almost 2.300 million US$ (around 2.100 million €) of still bottled wines (<2 litres) equivalent to over 620 million bottles 75cl.

In 2019 China imported bottled still wine amounted to 2.29 billion US$ (approximately 2.15 billion €) for over 474 million of litres (approximately 630 million bottles of 75cl), a decrease of -14.26% year-on-year.
