Prosecco DOC hits new record: exceeded 500 million bottles in 2020
- Prosecco DOC in 2020, despite the alarmist news on the trend of sparkling wine consumption together with the pandemic crisis, exceeded the threshold of 500 million bottles
- Prosecco DOC closed the year 2020 with a growth of +2.8% compared to the volumes of 2019
- The newly created Prosecco Rosé DOC recorded a production of 16.8 million bottles
