French wine and spirits exports fell for a second consecutive year in 2024, -4% from 2023, dragged down by weaker demand in China, according to a report released by the Fédération des Exportateurs de Vins et Spiritueux de France (FEVS).
Asian markets show mixed results though:
- Exports to Japan -4% ($700 million)
- Malaysia saw a +5% ($80 million)
- Thailand posted a +8% ($66 million)
