Not a bad day when a sommelier gets to taste 19 different Champagnes in minutes! 🍾
Singapore, November 6th, 2023 – I attended a nice B2B wine-tasting event organized by DealExport at 13% Wine Bistro in Singapore. The event showcased multiple French wineries looking for potential distributors in the Singapore market. Over 50 labels were available for sampling, but the highlight for me was the incredible Champagne flight featuring 19 different bubblies.
As a sommelier, it’s rare to have an opportunity like this to compare such a diverse array of Champagne profiles side-by-side. From blanc de blancs to blanc de noirs, brut to extra-dry, I was able to gain great insight into the myriad of expressions Champagne can take.
