305322 million bottles (the best result since 2017), of which 142 million bottles sold domestically in France (44%) and 180 million bottles exported (56%). 2021 global sales turnover passed 5.5 billion € - The UK is the largest export market for Champagne, which imports around 21 million bottles a year (7% of the total production). The USA is the second market
- Moët & Chandon is the largest Champagne producer in the world, with over 30 million bottles per year
- Nicolas Feuillatte is the best-selling Champagne in France, while Veuve Clicquot is the best-selling in the USA
- Champagne remains France’s second-largest export industry (aeronautics is number one)
