Investment fund Clessidra bought 60% of Casa Vinicola Botter, a 1928 Venetian winery previously controlled by the Botter family, valued at around 300 million € according to industry rumours.
For Clessidra that is the first investment in the wine sector. Botter, in 2019, was the 4th largest Italian winery with a turnover of 217 million € of which 93.7% came from export.
