USA is the biggest wine importers with almost 6.000 million US$ (around 5.400 million €) of bottled wine equivalent to almost 1.200 million bottles 75cl.
After the UK in the second place, China is the 3rd largest market (considering bottled wine only, if we include bulk wine Germany is the 3rd largest). Since sparkling wine is not significant, in 2019 China imported almost 2.300 million US$ (around 2.100 million €) of still bottled wines (<2 litres) equivalent to over 620 million bottles 75cl.
Germany is the 4th largest bottled wine market and Canada is the 5th.
2019 Top 5 Wine Exporters
France is the biggest wine exporter (in value) with 10.800 million US$ (including still and sparkling bottled and bulk wine).
Italy is the 2nd biggest wine exporter (in value) with over 7.000 million US$ (around 6.400 million €), but it is the largest (in volume) with almost 2.100 million litres of wine.
Spain in the 3rd exporter with almost 3.000 million US$, but it is the largest bulk wine exporter with 530 million US$ and 1.170 million litres of bulk wine (still and sparkling bottled wine accounts for 920 million litres).
Australia is the 4th biggest wine exporter and Chile is the 5th.
