Singapore, 13th June 2019 – Vito Donatiello took part in “D.O. Rias Baixas” masterclass held by Annette Scarfe, MW (one of only 10 Master of Wine in Asia).
Ms. Annette Scarfe introduced the 5 sub-zones of the D.O. and guided through the tasting of the 11 different expressions of Albariño, form young to refined on the lees to aged ones.
After the masterclass there was a walkabout tasting of 11 wineries, the winemakers shared their passion and knowledge.
This was the first time the Rias Baixas contingent from Spain visited Singapore! 11 wineries showcasing the renowned and indigenous Albariño grape varietal.
